Milliken Art Gallery Exhibits Works by High School Women
The Milliken Art Gallery at Converse College is hosting the bi-annual Young Women in Art Exhibit through March 15. The exhibit is open for female high school students. Thirteen high schools are represented in the exhibit including:

Calhoun Falls High School
Chapman High School
Dorman High School
Great Falls High School
Greenville Fine Arts Center
Greer High School
James F. Byrnes High School
Landrum High School
Ridge Springs Monetta High School
SC Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities
Spartanburg High School
Woodruff High School
“We received 156 entries from 22 art teachers and selected 80 art works for exhibit,” said Dianne Bagnal, Director of the Art Education Program at Converse.
Jill Jones is serving as judge.One piece place and Honorable Mention. Mediums featured include:
Drawing
Painting
Mixed Media/Printmaking
Photography
Ceramics/Sculpture
A closing reception on March 15th from 1-3 pm in the Milliken Gallery. Awards will be presented at 2 pm on the 15th.
