Exploring Difference and Equality: American Women Printmakers, 1890-1945
At 6 pm on Wednesday, March 12 Dr. Helen Langa, Associate Professor of Art History at American University in Washington DC, will present a public lecture entitled "Exploring Difference and Equality: American Women Printmakers, 1890-1945." Her presentation is based upon her award-winning book “Radical Art: Printmaking and the Left in 1930s New York.”
The event will be held in Hartness Auditorium (Carmichael Hall) and is free and open to the public.
