Premiered in New York in 2006, “Some Girl(s)” tells the story of Guy, a young writer faced with his impending marriage who embarks on a trek though five hotel rooms in five cities in order to visit five of his ex-girlfriends with whom he has not had contact for years. Ostensibly, his travels are meant to redress the circumstances that caused each of these relationships to break up. Much more than a voyage of atonement, however, this is a humorous, yet intensely serious expedition into the psyche of the modern American male and the spirit in each one of us.
