Converse Dance Ensemble Presents Fall Concert

The Converse College Dance Ensemble, in conjunction with the Alia Lawson Pre-College Dance Department, will present an informal fall concert Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. in Hazel B. Abbott Theatre.

Admission costs for the concert are $3 for adults and $2 for senior citizens and students. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. All Converse faculty, staff, and students are admitted free of charge but still require a ticket.

The concert will feature modern, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, classical ballet, tap, and contemporary ballet pieces. Allyson Young from Dance South in Clinton, S.C. and Terri Oliver from the Teele School in Spartanburg are serving as guest choreographers. Converse seniors Kat Arrants, Amanda Burgess and Brelan Riddle are also serving as choreographers.
