Michelle was born and raised in sunny southern California. She relocated to Greenville, South Carolina in the summer of 2010 to be closer to family. After working for several years in management, she decided that it was time to finish her degree. Thanks to a coworker, she found out about the Converse II program and graduated in 2017 with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre.

After graduating, Michelle felt like she was meant to be at Converse, she just didn’t know in what way or how. Thanks to her college professor and mentor, Dr. Boone Hopkins, and a post-grad coffee date at Little River, she ended up right where she belongs, in Admissions working with prospective students and their families.

After making the long commute on 85 for over five years, Michelle made the move to Sparkle City. She enjoys being an active member of the Converse community and believes strongly in supporting her students long after their admissions process is complete. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cooking, being outdoors, and snuggling with her fur babies. Fun fact, her cat Dexter is named after Converse’s founder, Dexter Edgar Converse!

Words Of Advice For Prospective Students:

If you have a question, or you think you have a question, ask it. And if you’re still not sure, ask it again. Applying to college can be confusing, especially when you’ve never done it before, and we want to make it as easy and stress free as possible.
