New Students Arrive at Converse
Converse welcomed 212 new students to campus on August 23, continuing last year’s trend of enrolling the highest number of new students in more than a decade. Faculty, staff and current students lightened the lifting load for our new families through the annual move-in effort.
A few interesting facts about the Pink Panther Class of 2016:
- Average GPA of 3.78
- 2 valedictorians
- top majors: biology/pre-med/nursing, psychology, business, music, art
- 5 Legacy students (whose mother, aunt, sister, cousin or grandmother attended Converse)
- 1 set of twins and 1 set of sisters
