13 Student-Athletes Named Fall Academic All-Conference by Conference Carolinas
The Converse College Valkyries is celebrating 13 individuals who made the prestigious Fall Academic All-Conference by Conference Carolinas list. Soccer led the way with eight individuals, while volleyball and cross country added four and one student-athletes, respectively. Congratulations to the following students:

The Fall Academic All-Conference recipients are made up of student-athletes from men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer and women’s volleyball. In total, 218 student-athletes collected the prestigious honor.
The Conference Carolinas Fall Academic All-Conference teams consist of junior and senior student-athletes in the conference who have competed in a conference-sponsored sport and maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale in all work completed at their member institution. The GPA is calculated based on the cumulative averages of the student-athletes through the previous semester and each student-athlete must have attended their member institution for at least one academic year.
Each year the Academic All-Conference teams are released as part of the Conference Carolinas championship season that begins this weekend with the 2019 Conference Carolinas Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships at Mount Olive on Saturday, Oct. 26.
