After a hard fought battle, the Converse Basketball All-Stars dropped a close game to the visiting Lees McRae Bobcats. Both teams battled throughout much of the first half, with the Bobcats holding a 36-33 lead at the intermission. The All-Stars fought hard to keep it close, but in the end Lees McRae came out on top, winning the game 70-65. The All-Stars were led by freshman Sydney Brown (Myrtle Beach, SC) with 21 points. Carla Kantara (London, England) and Lauren Mueller (Foley, AL) had 15 and 14 points respectively. Stephanie Mullinax led Lees McRae with 29 points. The All-Stars fall to 3- 19 on the season and will return to action on January 19 when they travel to North Carolina to take on the Brevard College Tornados.
