All-Stars finish 9th at NCAA Regional

Wingate, NC – Lead by a 25th place finish by freshman Sarah Powell (Enoree, SC), the Converse Cross Country team finished with an impressive 9th place ranking at the NCAA Regional held on the campus of Wingate College, NC this past Saturday.

The All-Stars were the 4th placed CVAC team in the field in a race that was won by perennial powerhouse Mars Hill College. Converse placed 4 runners in the top 50, two freshmen and one junior which bodes extremely well for the future of Converse Cross Country.
