Volleyball All-Stars Ranked 2nd in Nation for Digs Per Game
In statistics released Oct. 12 from the NCAA office in Indianapolis, IN, the Converse Volleyball team is ranked second in the nation for digs per game for Division II.
This is the first time in Converse history that a program has been ranked in the top-ten nationally of a statistical category in any sport and comes just a few days after the All-Stars ended the unbeaten streak of conference foe Mount Olive in the Hannah Gymnasium on the campus of Converse College. The All-Stars’ average 22.70 digs per game and trail Southeastern Oklahoma by only .09 of a dig for the overall national lead.
