Cross Country secures first ever NCAA Regional Ranking

Spartanburg, SC – On the heels of some standout freshmen performances, the Converse Cross Country team has been ranked 8th in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Rankings released today.

This marks the first appearance ever for the Converse in the polls and looks to be the first of many with the entrance of freshmen Betsy Ruppert (Wapakineta, OH) and Sarah Powell (Enoree, SC) into the fray who have turned in impressive performances in the early season.

Converse returns to action this Saturday as they travel to Charleston, SC for the Citadel Invitational.
