Converse knocks off Queens in 3
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (September 29th, 2005) – Queens University of Charlotte volleyball team fell short in their match against Converse College. Converse won 3-0 in CVAC action in Ovens Gym over the home Royals.
Queens was led by Laleh Threeths, Chrissy White, and Ciara Koester with 7, 8, 7 kills respectively. Keatin McKenzie continued her league leading ways with 3 solo and 3 assisted blocks. Defensively, White and Koester had 7 and 9 digs during the match. Converse pulled away from Queens at the 21 point mark in each of the three games.
The All-Stars were led by Monica Wallace, Leslie Shain, and Sarah Javdon- Innloo with 3 kills apiece. Defensively, Wallace (18 digs), Amy Fiervoa (17 digs), and Michelle Sloan (14 digs). Brittney Ojez led the All-Stars with 33 assists.
