Converse Volleyball picked 8th in CVAC Preseason poll
Thomasville, NC – The Converse College Volleyball team was picked 8th out of 11 teams in the CVAC Preseason coaches poll released Wednesday. The All-Stars will begin their first season in the CVAC Conference under new Head Coach Bill Rude who brings with him a wealth of coaching experience including CVAC Coach of the Year in 2003 and an NCAA Tournament berth in 2004 with St. Andrews Presbyterian College of North Carolina.
At the top of the poll is Mount Olive, a 2004 NCAA participant, followed by Lees McRae who will be looking to win an impressive 8th straight CVAC Championship and Barton College of North Carolina.
Converse begins the 2005 season August 28th at the Lander College Tournament where they will face the host school at 5pm.
