Converse Clenches Win In Final Game of Season

Converse College won their final game of the season on Senior Night. The All Stars beat North Greenville 4-3. Seniors Allison Dalbec and Courtney Rossley were both recognized at half time as the only two senior on the team this year.

In the first half, Samantha Chapman scored at 42:21 on an open goal. North Greenville’s Ashley Jackson scored at 21:00 with a chip off of an assist by Jenni Austin. All Star Paige Kohler scored at 5:50 with a free kick off of an assist by Tracy Archenhold. Sam Chapman completed an assist by Tracy Archenhold to head the ball into the goal at 2:51 and give Converse a 3-1 lead at the half.

Sam Chapman opened the second half with her third goal of the day off of another assist from Tracy Archenhold at 42:10. North Greenville’s Ashley Jackson scored her second and third goals at 26:47 with an assist by Michelle Hoppes and again at 9:20 with a chip off of an assist from Whitney Dablestein.

This game ends the 2004 soccer season with the All Stars finishing 5-10-2.
