Volleyball Team Reaching New Heights in Preseason

The Converse College Volleyball team has been in their preseason since August 10. They have spent many hours practicing, lifting weights, and conditioning. After a minor scrimmage versus Limestone College on Wednesday, the future looks bright for the All Stars. They begin their season on September 1st, at Converse, where the team will take on Columbia College at 7:00pm. Throughout the season the All Stars will travel to tournaments at Tusculum College, Carson Newman College, and the University of Puerto Rico. Coach Brooks had this to say about the upcoming season, ” I am excited to see the team in action this year. Their growth from last year has been enormous, and although we are still a relatively young team, these girls are capable of performing up to any team’s level.” The Converse volleyball team is ready to begin their season with a lot of competitive play, be sure to check out the All Stars this season here at the PAC!
