Lincoln Memorial University Blanks Converse

The All-Stars lost at home to Lincoln Memorial University 9-0 on Saturday at 2:00PM.

In doubles action,Converse’s Tina Rohner and Sandra Diaz were defeated by Sokolova and Jonsson 8-2. At number two doubles, Converse’s Danielle Beck and Christine Galop were defeated by Olivier and Sertschnigg 8-2. Also in doubles action Andrea Weatherman and Megan Munn were defeated by Lewallen and Carter 8-0.

In singles play, Converse’s Tina Rohner was defeated by Sokolova (6-1,6-1) at number one singles. At flight two, Converse’s Danielle Beck fell to Olivier (6-0, 6-1). In flight three Converse’s Sandra Diaz was defeated by Sertschnigg(6-2, 6-0) while at flight four Converse’s Christine Galop was defeated by Lewallen (6-4, 2-6, 10-8). In flight five Megan Munn was defeated by Jonsson (6-1, 6-1), and in the number six spot Andrea Weatherman was defeated by Carter(6-0, 6-0) .

The All-Stars will travel to Belmont, North Carolina to take on Belmont Abbey College on Tuesday, March 23 at 3:30PM. The All-Stars will return home on Saturday, March 27th to take on Columbia College.
