Converse Falls To Presbyterian College
The All-Stars are now 4-6 for the year after losing to Presbyterian College (5-2) in Clinton, South Carolina on Saturday at 11am.
In doubles action,Converse’s Tina Rohner and Sandra Diaz were defeated by Brown and Netzler 8-4. At number two doubles, Converse’s Danielle Beck and Christine Galop were defeated by Catherine Bankhead and Lynch 8-1. Also in doubles action Andrea Weatherman and Megan Munn were defeated by Floyd and Moyer 8-0.
In singles play, Converse’s Tina Rohner was defeated by Elise Netzler (6-1,6-2,) at number one singles. At flight two, Converse’s Danielle Beck fell to Taylor Lynch (6-2, 6-0). In flight three Converse’s Sandra Diaz was defeated by Lauren Ingle(6-4, 6-1) while at flight four Converse’s Christine Galop was defeated by Bharathi (6-1, 6-3). In flight five Megan Munn was defeated by Anne Gilmore (6-0, 6-0), and in the number six spot Andrea Weatherman was defeated by Lisa Moyer (6-0, 6-0) .
