Converse Falls To Wingate
The All-Stars fell to the Wingate Bulldogs 66-49 on Wednesday night in Wingate, NC at Cuddy Arena. The All-Stars started out slow in the first half only shooting 20% from the field and only scoring 15 points compared to the Bulldogs shooting percentage of 41.7% and going into the half with 35 points. In the second half the All-Stars picked it with their shooting percentage and shot 51.9% from the field, but only 50% from the free throw line. The Bulldogs shot only shot 39.9% from the field, but 80% from behind the free throw line. The Bulldogs only outscored the All-Stars 34-31 in the second half. The All-Stars ended the game shooting 35.1% from the field and the Bulldogs shot 40.6%.
Lauren Mueller led both teams with 17 points and also had 15 rebounds. She had 12 rebounds alone in the first half. This was her fourth double-double of the season.
Tanetra Barrett led the Bulldogs with 15 points and four steals.
The All-Stars have the weekend off, before they travel to Montana for a tournament.
