UNC-C Wins Furman Invitational

Greenville, South Carolina — 15 schools competed in a 5k race this past weekend at the Furman Invitational. Charlotte won the women’s race with 38 points, while UNCA placed second with 45.

Converse finished 14th on Saturday with Mary Cloonan finishing 65th with a time of 22:12.36. Hayley Crowe came in behind her with a time of 22:28.49, finishing 69th overall. Their teammates finished as follows:

91 Samantha Greenidge SO Converse College 22:46.73

111 Katie McCaskill JR Converse College 25:19.09

120 Regina Davis JR Converse College 26:29.91

129 Jennifer Mack FR Converse College 28:09.26

Next up for the All Stars will be Regionals in Raleigh, NC. This will be a 6k.
