Freshman Brittney Ogez (Tulsa, OK) lead Converse to a 16-0 run in the beginning stages of the first game Monday night with a strong serving performance. This set the pace as the All-Stars won the first game by a demanding 30-5 score. The second game was a closer score that ended up 30-17, followed by an even tighter 30-23 game. Converse was led by freshman Lauren Mueller (Foley, AL) and junior Catherine Woodrum (Spartanburg, SC) with 9 and 8 kills respectively, and senior Letia Felder (Cayce, SC) having 6 kills and hitting 71 percent, while Junior Hannah Roach (Greer, SC) added 5 kills and hit 67 percent. Every All-Star contributed to the win, which once again puts Converse at a .500 record on the season. They return to action 7pm Wednesday, October 22 at USCS, and then a Home Match against Mars Hill College, Tuesday, October 28th.
