Rossley Adds Four to Fall Roster
SPARTANBURG-Converse women’s soccer coach Shannon Rossley recently announced the signing of three new players to the National Letter of Intent and one commitment to transfer. Brandy Barksdale, Rachel Sherman, and Kristen Stankus have signed the NLI along with Courtney Rossley who has committed to transfer from Queens College (NC).
Barksdale is a 5-8 defender from Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was the captain of the Bayside High School soccer team her senior year and contributed to the team’s first time ever appearance in district play-offs.
Sherman is a 5-0 forward from Virginia Beach, Virginia where she has been a teammate and captain with Brandy Barksdale on the Bayside High School squad. She competes on the Beach Futbol Club and is a member of the Virginia Olympic Development program.
Stankus is a 5-3 midfielder from Arlington, Virginia. She was the captain of the Yorktown High School soccer program, along with playing on the Virginia State team, BRYC Electra. Her club team will be competing in the regional tournament in July.
Rossley is a 5-6 defender from Easley, South Carolina who will be transferring after attending Queens College (NC).
