President Krista Newkirk is one of only 50 people selected by Greenville Business Magazine as one of the region’s most influential people.

President Newkirk was named Converse College’s tenth President in 2016. A respected and passionate leader with broad knowledge and experience across the higher education landscape, Newkirk brings to Converse a strong history of maximizing the potential and impact of the institutions and organizations she serves.
