Festival of Lessons and Carols to be Held at Converse Nov. 30

Converse College and the Upstate community will enjoy a beautiful holiday tradition when the annual student-led Festival of Lessons & Carols is held in Twichell Auditorium, Nov. 30 at 8 p.m. For more information, call (864) 596-9078.

Over the years, Lessons and Carols has become a tradition at Converse, and is a service of worship involving all segments of the local community. The setting will include luminaries lining the front campus, and two Christmas trees on the Twichell stage. The Converse Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Susan Lyle, will perform and lead the congregational singing of traditional carols and hymns between verses of the Christmas story, which will be read by Converse students.
