Academic Top 10

The Converse College Athletic Department announced its “Top 10” Academic Athletes for the Fall 2003 semester. Heading the list was Sophomore tennis player Tina Rohner from Kaufbeuren, Germany. Tina is a double major, majoring in Economics and Politics and Katie Boyd from Chesnee, South Carolina. She is majoring in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Math. Adding to the list is one cross-country runner and one volleyball player and one basketball player that round out the top five spots. Included in the “Top 10” were four volleyball players, three cross-country runners, one tennis, one soccer and one basketball.

Also included in the report was the overall Athletic Department GPA which was a 3.037. The volleyball team led the way with a 3.379 average followed closely by the cross-country team with a 3.345.
