Audition for Upstate Broadway

On Sept. 27, the Twichell stage at Converse College will be transformed into a Broadway locale as Converse and the Spartanburg community come together for Upstate Broadway. The event will begin at 8 p.m. and will be filled with Broadway favorites.

Vocal and dance auditions will be held April 27. Vocal auditions will be 1:30-6:00 p.m. in Twichell, and dance auditions will be 4:30-6:00 p.m. in the Montgomery dance studio. Rehearsals will begin end of August.

Vocal auditions:
April 27; 1:30-6:00 p.m.
Twichell Auditorium
Requirement: two-minute song in English.

Dance auditions:
April 27; 4:30-6:00 p.m.
Dance studio in Montgomery Building
Requirements: some dance training, tap and jazz shoes.

Although résumés and head-shots will be accepted, they are not required.

Participants are not required to audition for both vocal and dance, however those who choose to do so must schedule non-conflicting auditions.
