A Veritable Converse Sweep at NATS Regional
Converse singers swept the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Mid-Atlantic Regional Auditions held at University of North Carolina in Greensboro on April 5. These young artists competed against students from the finest schools of music in S.C., N.C., the District of Columbia, M.D. and Va.

Special monetary awards to the outstanding singer in specific categories were presented after the Honors recital, and were won by Santiago Mariani, Andrew Bolden (two awards) and Brandi Icard. Anna Steenerson ’03 was the only student in the entire competition to receive a perfect score in the auditions.
