Dr. Peterson Publishes Second Book
Dr. Aaron Peterson, Director of the Doctorate in Professional Leadership and Assistant Professor of Leadership at Converse University, recently published a new book.
Second Star to the Right: Essays on Leadership in Star Trek , is an edited anthology on leadership through the lens of Star Trek. This is Dr. Peterson’s second book with his good friend and colleague Dr. Jason Kaufman from Minnesota State University, Mankato. The book contains chapters written by different authors who are experts in myriad areas of leadership (i.e. education, business, entertainment, military, etc.). The book was published with the academic publisher, Vernon Press.
Dr. Peterson’s first book, Leadership in Star Trek Lessons from the Captain’s Chair , is coming up on its 2nd year anniversary since being published. This first book explores the leadership concepts of communication, patience, and relationship through the lens of the grand captains of Star Trek.
