Converse Athletics Holds Annual Golf Tournament
Converse held its second annual Converse University Valkyries Golf Tournament at The Carolina Country Club. There was a large turnout from the community to support Converse’s thriving athletics programs, with more than 400 NCAA Division II student-athletes.
Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Jenn Bell said, “Our second annual golf tournament was an even bigger success than last year’s inaugural golf tournament. We could not be more pleased!”
Converse University Athletics is grateful to all the sponsors and tournament participants who make these events successful. Their support for Converse student-athletes paves the way for their success on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. Jenn Bell said, “Athletics is making big strides on and off the courts and fields, and we know the support of donors at events like our annual golf tournament will continue to help us provide even more for our student-athletes.”
Converse Athletics is especially grateful to lead sponsors Gibbs International, Inc. and Brown & Brown/Travelers Insurance.
