Converse Wins Two Delegations at 2025 SE Model Arab League Conference

The Southeast Model Arab League conference was held from March 14 through March 16, 2025, at Converse University.

Converse’s two delegations, representing Oman and the United Arab Emirates, received the two outstanding delegation awards. Both delegations won individual awards for outstanding or distinguished citations.

Converse is well positioned for the upcoming National Model University Model in two weeks in Washington, DC.

Politics major Jerome Harris ’25 served as Secretary General for the Model. Faculty voted Steven Greer and Jack Stokes ’24 as the outstanding chairs.  Competing against these two very experienced chairs, Politics major Chelsea Palotta ’26 was the runner-up in the faculty vote and was named distinguished chair.
