Professor Ghionis Presents Research at International Conference
Assistant Professor of Education & Director of Special Education Programs, Elena Ghionis, was invited by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan to present at the International Scientific-Practical Conference (Pedagogical Science).
Professor Ghionis presented research on “Post-Covid-19 education of students with special needs.” She also provided training for Early interventionists at BabyNet Early Intervention Agency, Student Solutions and provided professional development for Spartanburg School District 3, SPED department on instructional methods and strategies for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Professor Ghionis is an experienced educator in the areas of Intellectual Disabilities, Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, Learning Disabilities, and Early Childhood: Special Education. She is a certified autism specialist and a board-certified cognitive specialist.
