Dr. DeLapp Elected VP for South Carolina Society for Philosophy

Dr. Kevin DeLapp was elected as Vice President for the South Carolina Society for Philosophy and will be the lead organizer for its 2021-2022 annual meeting.

He recently completed edits and indexing on his two-volume historiography of the West’s reception of Confucius, to be released in December 2021 by Bloomsbury Publishers. Dr. DeLapp also completed a new essay exploring the similarities and differences between Aristotle’s understanding of habit and Confucius’ understanding of ritual.
