Meg Hanna-Tominaga’s fresh adaptation of Franz Kafka’s classic novella reframes the life of Gregor Samsa from his internal torment to the external forces that contribute to his suffering. Staged in the Department of Theatre & Dance’s intimate Laird Theater, this powerful production examines the devastating effects of dysfunctional interpersonal relationships and how being treated inhumanely can cause one to feel less than human.

The subject matter is not recommended for young audiences; Laird Theater is not wheelchair accessible.
