The Petrie School of Music presents “Danzón,” a concert by the Converse Symphony Orchestra featuring the 2022 concerto competition winners Madeline Owens, soprano, Sydney Stevens, oboe, and Liu Luxin, clarinet. Directed by Eric Scheider, the program features lively and colorful dance-inspired music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Florence Price, Arturo Márquez, and more.
