With a career spanning three decades, the multiple GRAMMY® Award-winning Pacifica Quartet has achieved international recognition as one of the finest chamber ensembles performing today. Known for delivering performances that are “engrossing, characterful…with a luminescent tranquility [and] spine-tingling intensity” (The New York Times), the Quartet is celebrated for its virtuosity, exuberant performance style, and fearless repertory choices.

They are joined by narrator Dr. Chandra Hopkins, Dean of the Converse College for Women, in a program they call “American Portraits.” A reception with wine and hors d’oeuvres follows the concert.
