Professor Mulkey Interviewed on Purpose Tree Podcast

Associate Professor of English, and Director of Creative Writing Professor Rick Mulkey was a guest on The Purpose Tree podcast this month. The Purpose Tree examines our human purpose and the passion of artists, writers, entrepreneurs, thinkers, change makers, and people who contribute to a better world.

Professor Mulkey talks honestly about how his work has evolved since his first book, his mentor Albert Goldbarth, and his desire to leave his hometown of Appalachia and his surprising inspiration to write about it during a residency in Scotland.

Professor Mulkey is currently on sabbatical and writing a new book. Mulkey’s book, All These Hungers, is available at various bookstores.
