We have truly enjoyed seeing moments of fun across campus in the snow and highlighting several of those through our social media pages. Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, we’re excited to have you here and can’t wait to share stories from Jan Term, winter break, and these snowy days as we return to classes tomorrow.

Our Converse community extends beyond residence halls to include commuter students and faculty and staff who travel to campus and outlying sites each day. As we return to normal routines, we encourage everyone to continue prioritizing safety and using your best judgment.
We also recognize that local schools and childcare providers are adjusting schedules throughout the week, which may create additional challenges for some members of our community. Thank you for your continued flexibility and understanding as we support one another during this transition. If you feel unable to return safely in the coming days, please reach out to your faculty member or supervisor to discuss options.
Please also be patient as we continue navigating icy and snow-covered areas on campus. While members of our Emergency Response Team have worked hard to clear primary roads and pathways, there will still be snow piles (and quite a few remaining snowmen!) across campus throughout the week. Give yourself a little extra time, move slowly, use handrails where available, and remember that surfaces that appear wet may still be icy.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Wednesday and kicking off a great start to the spring term. Until then, stay warm, travel safely, and thank you for supporting one another through yet another winter surprise.
