Dr. Cathy Jones was invited by the Université de Tunis in Tunisia to be a keynote speaker. She will discuss current trends in American women’s autobiographical writings at an international conference to be held this fall. Learn more about Dr. Jones.

Language, culture and literature students have interned at: The United Nations Population Fund, Panama Council on US Arab Relations, Embassy of France, French Consulate, French Cultural Services and French Trade Commission.

On a study-travel trip to Paris and Tunisia, students visited historical sites like the Louvre, the Orangerie (home of Monet’s Water Lilies), the castle of Versailles, Ottoman Turk palaces, the ancient city of Carthage and certain sites of the Sahara–including the location where some of the Star Wars movies were filmed!
