Two Converse University Interior Design students were honored at The International Furnishings and Design Association’s (IFDA) Night of Luminaries & Rising Stars.
The IFDA Carolinas Chapter honored outstanding design students from colleges and universities throughout the Carolinas at the networking event. Guests were treated to a private tour of the showrooms led by professional designers before the awards ceremony.
Joscelyn Gallego ’23 was named a ‘Rising Star’ at the ceremony. IFDA ‘Rising Stars’ are senior-level undergraduates selected by their colleges or universities as their most outstanding home furnishings or design student.
Anna Lee ’24 was awarded a 2023 merit scholarship from the International Furnishings and Design Association Educational Foundation, IFDA-EF.
Accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA), Converse’s Interior Design program prepares students for a lucrative career by teaching students to create functional, healthy and safe interior environments through manual and digital expertise in graphic visualization and presentation.
