Marsha H. Gibbs Wins 2022 Dexter Edgar Converse Award

On Thursday, April 21, Converse hosted its annual Silver Soirée, celebrating our Lifetime Giving Society members and honoring Marsha H. Gibbs as the Dexter Edgar Converse 2022 award recipient.

Named for Converse’s founder, Dexter Edgar Converse, the award honors those who continue the commitment to the Founder’s Ideal.

Silver Soiree 2022

Gibbs has been a steadfast supporter of Converse and its students, serving 16 years on the Board of Trustees (1999-2007, 2008-2016, and 2017-2021). She is an instrumental leader in the Upstate community; both she and her husband have impacted countless lives through their business and philanthropic endeavors.
