Faculty & Students Exhibit at NC Bascom Center for Visual Arts

Professors Andrew Blanchard and Jena Thomas and their respective students Laney Milham ’23 and Mable Ni ’24 are included in “Emergence: A Survey of Southeastern Studio Programs” at the Bascom Center for the Visual Arts in Highlands, North Carolina. By showcasing faculty and student pairs, this exhibition offers the viewer a regional look at the important relationship between mentors and emerging practitioners.
“Emergence: A Survey of Southeastern Studio Programs” is on view now until April 30, 2022.
Professor Blanchard currently has his art on view in Twenty Years of Marais Press at the Hilliard Museum in Lafayette, LA.
Professor Thomas exhibited in a group show called “State of the Art II” at The Momentary and Crystal Bridges Museums in Bentonville, AR. The show will be traveling to two other museums, The Akron Museum of Art and Sarasota Art Museum. Professor Thomas also had her work featured in the exhibition “Dear So-And-So” at Cambridge Art Center, Cambridge, MA., and has a solo exhibition opening at The Village, in Samford, CT.
