MFA Professor Ashley Jones Featured on Good Morning America, NPR & The NY Times

Ashley M. Jones has had a whirlwind fall. She was interviewed by ABC News’ Byron Pitts about being honored as Alabama’s poet laureate, her love of the South, and her latest book, “Reparations Now!“

Alabama’s youngest and first Black poet laureate, Jones was also featured in a New York Times article, NPR and The Journal of Blacks in Higher Education.

Professor Jones has been a member of Converse’s MFA faculty since 2017.
