Vigil for Hurricane Helene for Students, Faculty and Staff

On Friday, October 11, 2024, the Office of Spiritual Life will host a Vigil for Hurricane Helene in Gibbs Chapel at 1:00 pm for our Converse community. This is intended to be a time of healing and processing for our campus as we grapple with the aftermath of a catastrophic event for our community and so many others across the Southeast.
With the help of Converse student Bentlee Chockley, we will also be hosting a drive this week for residents in Asheville, NC, who are still very much in need of community support at this time. You are welcome to bring these with you to the vigil on Friday.
You may also support Converse students by donating items to Valkyrie Supply, our basic needs hub in Montgomery Student Center.
