Emalie Savoy Converse University

The Guest Artist Series presents Petrie School of Music Faculty Artist Emalie Savoy, soprano. Lauded as “remarkable” by The New York Times, Ms. Savoy’s lyric vocal beauty and dramatic passion continue to touch audiences worldwide. A versatile artist, Ms. Savoy is sought-after on the operatic as well as concert and recital stage. Notable appearances include her Metropolitan Opera debut as Kristina in Leoš Janáček’s The Makropulos Case; performances alongside cellist Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble; her Carnegie Hall debut as soprano soloist in Mendelssohn’s Paulus with the Oratorio Society of New York; and performances with the New York Philharmonic as Queen Isabella in de Falla’s Atlántida.

This event is free and open to the public – a livestream will not be available. Kindly note that all audience members must follow the Converse University COVID protocol, including mask-wearing regardless of vaccination status.
