2021 Opening Convocation
September 24, 2021 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Opening Convocation will be held during Family & Friends weekend. Platform Party, Faculty, Seniors, and 50th Classes of 1970 & 1971 will process into Twichell; Convocation will begin at 11:30 am. The Dexter Edgar Converse Award and the Class of 2025 Academic awards will be presented during Convocation. The event will also be live-streamed to other areas on campus for the student body.
This event is closed to the public.
The Processional will begin lining up at 11:15 am as follows:
Current Seniors – Gee Dining Hall
Platform Party – Stackhouse
Faculty – Wilson Lobby
50th Classes – Lee Parlor – will receive their gowns and medals at this time
Opening Convocation is followed by lunch in Gee Dining Hall. Students use their ID’s; Trustees, faculty, staff, and 50th classes are at no cost. Guests can pay at the door.
