Sam Kind
Assistant Professor of Education
Sam earned her M.Ed. from Converse in 1994 and her Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina in 2001. She has been a secondary and college teacher for over three decades. Most recently she served Spartanburg District Six as the Secondary Induction and Mentoring Coordinator and Literacy Specialist. She is the Director of Teacher Education, Student Teaching, and Middle and Secondary Education programs.
Sam is a beekeeper and bat rehabilitator who can be found with her family or on a trail hiking with her dog Best.
