As Associate Director of Donor Relations, Joseph implements and manages donor relations and stewardship programs in conjunction with ongoing cultivation efforts that support fundraising objectives at Converse.

Previous to this role, Joseph was the Donor Relations and Ticketing Specialist for the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Shortly after moving to South Carolina, he began his career at Converse as Donor Programs Coordinator.

Prior to his work in philanthropy, Joseph resided in Baltimore, Maryland where he was an educator and concert pianist. A recipient of numerous awards, Joseph held faculty positions at several colleges, universities, and prestigious schools while concertizing throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. In addition, Joseph worked nearly a decade as an administrator for the Gijón International Piano Festival, in Gijón, Spain.

Joseph lives in Greenville with his wife, Jessica, and their cat, Mimi.
