Adam Flynn is a practicing architect and associate with McMillan Pazdan Smith, based in Spartanburg SC, as well as an Adjunct Instructor of Interior Design at Converse University, teaching Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software skills.

As an architect, Adam has led numerous projects in and around the Spartanburg area, with a focus on community-centered design. Completed projects include the Dr. TK Gregg Community Center, the Robert Hett Chapman III Center for Philanthropy, OneSpartanburg Inc. Headquarters, Spartanburg Public Libraries Inman Branch, and Union County Carnegie Library, among many others. Union County Carnegie Library has received numerous awards, including the SC Historic Preservation Honor Award (2019), the Library Journal Award (2019) and inclusion in the American Libraries Design Showcase (2020).

Adam holds a Master of Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture, and Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture, all from North Carolina State University. Originally from Brevard NC, Adam now resides in Boiling Springs, SC with his wife Emily, son Jack, and one-eyed cat Nellie.
