Private Lessons

  • Ages 6 and up, adults welcome
  • Costs range from $22 to $28 per half-hour lesson; longer lessons also available
  • Register by 16-week semester (some offerings vary or offer flexible semesters and prorating)
  • Lesson days and times vary by instructor
  • Faculty offer a wide variety of styles including classical, musical theatre, and sacred
  • Individualized coaching in vocal technique
  • Some teachers participate in NATS, STAR Celebration, and other competitions and activities
  • Satellite instruction available in Districts 6 and 7! Contact your school for more information.

Group Voice Classes

  • $200 for sixteen 45-minute classes
  • Learn a variety of age-appropriate vocal music
  • Practice with both solos and ensembles
  • Perform for peers in a nurturing environment
  • At least one recital performance per semester

Young Beginners: 5K-1st grade; Tuesdays 3:003:45 pm

Beginners:  2nd-4th grade; Tuesdays 4:004:45 pm

Intermediate: 5th-7th grade; Tuesdays 5:005:45 pm

  • Ages 13 – 18 currently enrolled in voice lessons or with 2-3 years of vocal experience
  • $20 per student
  • Learn to bring characters to life onstage with movement, expression, character study, and energy

  • Week-long summer workshop presented by the Lawson Academy and the Petrie School of Music
  • Concentrate on performance issues and audition preparation
  • Individual attention from faculty in addition to topical group sessions for the serious singer
