If your FAFSA is selected for verification, you will be required to get a Tax Return Transcript and, in some cases, a Wage & Income Transcript from the IRS by calling 1-800-829-1040. Personal copies of tax returns and W2(s) can no longer be accepted.

Complete your Financial Aid File

If your FAFSA is selected for verification and you and/or your spouse (if married) or parents (if dependent), did not and was not required to file a federal tax return, you will be required to get a Verification of Nonfiling letter from the IRS by calling 1-800-829-1040.
