Silhouette of a barn, picket fence and windmill with blood in the foreground.

Originally published in 1945, George Orwell’s satirical fable examines the treacherous (and frighteningly easy) path to totalitarianism. With a script faithfully adapted for the stage by Ian Wooldridge, Converse Theatre & Dance’s production brings to life this classic cautionary tale and its maddening relevance in the face of world affairs today.

Please be advised that this production is for ages 12+ and includes themes of dictatorship, propaganda, abuse of power, exploitation, gaslighting and violent death.
